Meeting rooms.
Microsoft Teams Rooms solutions by Rocware and Lenovo, from a two-person huddle to a 25-seat boardroom.
Designed to guidelines. How we size every room.
Display size
Image height of at least ⅙ of the farthest viewing distance.
Based on AVIXA display image size guidance for general viewing. A 6 m room with the last seat at 5.5 m needs a display of about 75″ or more.
Camera
Wide video bars up to about 5 m. Optical-zoom PTZ beyond.
Digital zoom loses detail at distance, so large rooms use 12× optical-zoom PTZ cameras with auto framing and speaker tracking.
Microphones
Every seat within a microphone’s pickup range.
Following Rocware guidance, each RM702 covers a 3 m radius and up to six cascade over PoE for pickup across as much as 150 m².
Speakers
Dedicated speakers once the room outgrows the camera’s.
Large rooms add S22 active speakers at the front wall, and a DSP such as the B20M keeps echo cancellation consistent across every mic.
These are design guidelines. Room acoustics, furniture and sightlines vary, so Skyco confirms every kit before you order.
